Work in Progress

OK so, aside from the occasional “blournal” entry I post on a semi-regular basis, I have mostly neglected this website. That one’s entirely on me. I wanted to get the “blournal” up and running as soon as possible, so that took priority over everything else, mostly because I’ve been shilly-shallying like crazy over many of the site’s other features, hence why the site still looks a little bare bones in its current state. I was hoping to get more work done after Halloween but because of certain events that I’ve already written about, I decided it was best to give myself a little bit of TLC.

I’ve recently started to learn the basics of coding, specifically how to use custom code, and it’s been really helpful in shaping the site more to my particular tastes. Granted, there are a couple of kinks that need ironing out but overall, I’m pretty satisfied with how this website is shaping up. I plan on posting many more pictures to this site in the coming days or maybe even weeks, primarily consisting of my amateur attempts at photography, so expect plenty of landscapes, sunsets and in-game photos. I don’t know how I’m going to categorise all of my photos, though, but that’s mostly my perfectionist tendencies rearing their ugly head. I gotta remember to relax and remember that this isn’t the website in its final form. In fact, I don’t think it’ll ever have a final form. This website, much like myself, is a work-in-progress.

So is there anything else on my mind? Well… I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that it’s less than a week until Christmas. I could easily sit back and wonder how the year went by so quickly, but that’d only be costing me precious time that I should be using more productively. I still have a bit of last-minute prep and Christmas shopping that needs doing before, so I should probably get on with that.
