Back on Track
I spent most of this weekend playing word games on my phones, which is basically my way of saying that my weekend was not productive in the slightest. So far, 2025’s been a pretty lackadaisical year on my part as I’ve been trying to ease myself back into some kind of routine.
Obviously, the weather’s been pretty cold as of late, so I haven’t made any time to get out on the bike. In fact, up until today, I hadn’t really made any effort to get back into shape. No long walks, no wall sits, no planks or anything of that sort, but I did spend thirty minutes on the trusty elliptical bike that’s been in this house for over twenty years. It’s not much but it’s a good place to start.
I still haven’t set any goals or resolutions for this year, but I have a few ideas in the back of my mind. For one, I would like to add some more things to the website to make it a little less bare-bones and I’d also like to learn more about coding so I can further customise the site to my personal liking. That, and I’m making it a priority to get that podcast I previously yammered on off the ground. I just need to figure out a topic and a possible location to film and/or record in.
I’m also kind of flirting with the idea of getting back into making YouTube videos. For those of you who don’t know, I used to do movie reviews on my YouTube channel, which is still currently up as of this writing, but I haven’t made or posted anything to it since 2020, mostly because I felt dissatisfied with what I was churning out and I wanted to see what other direction I could take the channel in. Unfortunately, I still haven’t figured that out as of yet, but I’ve always had a return to YouTube as a possibility for the future and who knows… that may or may not happen in 2025.
Watch this space.
P.S. I’d also really like to revamp my “Dancave” for various reasons and I’ll write about that at some point in the future. Again, watch this space.
