Let’s Go, Giants

Last night, I saw the Belfast Giants play against the Nottingham Panthers at the SSE Arena in Belfast and… holy puck, I think I might like hockey. Keep in mind, this is the first time I’ve ever seen the Giants so I don’t know much about them aside from the name. All that being said, I really enjoyed the game. It was exciting – especially when Jeff Baum scored the first of two goals in the last minute of the first round – and the atmosphere in the arena was absolutely incredible.

I’m hardly what you would call a sports fan but I've grown to love the communal feeling of seeing a competitive match live. The audience really gives it such a good buzz and such a powerful euphoria that streaming can never come close to equalling.
